These days, many people are looking for work and thinking about changing their career field. As jobs in some industries leave for good, new ones open up in other areas. Of course, we are all drawn to high-profile job titles, but there are many industries that are growing and that have bright futures ahead of them. If you have been considering changing your career path, one of these might be worth taking another look at.

Here are 5 growing career fields you may not have considered:

Legal assistant/ Paralegal - This job is much more than just secretarial work. Paralegals help lawyers in a variety of ways. It doesn't take a post graduate degree to be trained in this career field and it pays, on average, $45,000 a year.

Chiropractor - For those who are looking for a specialized career in healthcare, this is certainly worth looking into. Chiropractors earn an average of $68,000 a year and work in a variety of settings. Although typically seen in private practice, it is a growing field inside sports medicine as well.

Physical Therapist
- For people who are interested in sports medicine or even massage, physical therapy is a certainly a career that is booming. As the workforce ages, the demand for these professionals will increase. On average, physical therapists make $74,000 a year.

Dental Hygienist - Dental Hygienists work a flexible schedule and are an important part of a dentist's staff. They assist the dentist and do routine teeth cleaning for patients. These medical professionals earn around $67,000 a year. Not too shabby!

Dietician - These nutritional experts have found jobs working in a variety of different settings. From planning school lunches to working with people who want to lose weight, Dieticians can be found just about anywhere. These professionals earn an average of $52,000 a year.
