DuPont’s Field Engineering Program Offers Key Benefits for Recent Grads

Posted by in Engineering

If you’re a recent engineering grad and you’re not sure exactly what type of engineering job best fits your aspirations and career goals, you might consider signing up for DuPont’s Field Engineering Program.

The Field Engineering Program has been responsible for recruiting some of DuPont’s best engineering talent. When you consider that nearly half of DuPont’s professional work force is composed of engineers, there are plenty of opportunities to go around.

DuPont’s highly successful program has been around for over a century. It has quite a track record in bringing engineers into over 70 different domestic company locations. The program offers two key benefits for today’s young engineers: First, it gives each engineer the chance to gain valuable on-the-job experience in several types of jobs at different DuPont locations. Second, it provides two- to three-year assignments, which give engineers the chance to train, develop, and participate in challenging work assignments that foster professional growth.

After going through the Field Engineering Program, you’ll have a much better idea of what aspect of engineering you want to pursue. These early-career opportunities not only allow you to experience a diversity of job challenges, but they let you build a solid record of achievements and gain key insights into DuPont and how their various divisions operate.

DuPont offers a full spectrum of opportunities to bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D.-level engineers, including:
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering (Construction)
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Materials Engineering
