Were you born to fulfill a certain destiny? I can’t say for sure but were you born with a predisposition of traits that shape your future? You betcha. It’s not just DNA coming together that determines if you’re more likely to be an artist or an athlete, certain attributes accredited to your astrological sign can make a big difference in the paths you choose to pursue.
“Many high school students take an aptitude test to guide them on a path that they would enjoy. Astrology works the same way — it’s like a blueprint of your personality,” professional astrologer Katherine Metcalf says, “We all come into this world with likes and dislikes, natural talents and areas where we need to learn and grow.”
So what does astrology say about how you work?
The first sign we’ll explore is Aries, the ram.Even if you’re not an Aries you might work with one someday so it’s important to know how they function.
Good, bad or otherwise Aries tend to display the following character traits: assertive, urgent, forthright, selfish, adventurous, quick-tempered, energetic, pioneering, courageous, impulsive, enthusiastic, confident, outspoken, dynamic, quick-witted, impatient, foolhardy, and daredevil.
People born between March 21st and April 19th fall under the first of the four fire signs. You can tell because they always seem to have a fire in their pants to get things done. It can be a little intimidating if you’re a methodical earth sign but Aries are born leaders with great ideas so it will benefit you to go with the flow, at least at first.
While Aries are inspiring motivators they have a tendency to get so many things going it’s hard to complete particular projects especially if it doesn’t hold their interest. Dentistry, engineering, electronics, the armed services, government, construction, hotel/recreation, education, are all careers where Aries have reported to succeed and find fulfillment. They are free spirits who can’t stand to stagnate in a rigid routine like factory work.
Aries also have to be careful to consider coworkers feelings when trying to get their point across. Their blunt and honest manner can easily be mistaken as arrogant, harsh and rude even if that isn’t their intention. This sort of sharpness is even more intense if an Aries feels disappointed in themselves for failing to meet goals or living up to expectations they have set for themselves.
Certain signs seem to get along with Aries in a working environment better than others. Taurus, Sagittarius, Libra and Leo signs seem to have the best working relationships with them while Capricorn, Aquarius, Scorpio and Cancer signs tend to butt heads with the rams. Other Aries, Gemini, Virgo and Pisces born people are a tossup and could work really well or catastrophically clash with the Aries characteristics.
Each individual is different however with a plethora of factors adding up to form their personality. Stereotyping according to sign is about as accurate as stereotyping according to race so don’t do it. Take the time to get to know your coworkers and yourself a little better and it will enhance everyone’s work experience.
