    This role is to provide leadership in the planning and strategy, architecture, deployment, management and operation of BeiGene's SAP ERP platforms for US region in coordination with the APAC ERP CoE lead. It includes support for all logistics operating areas including Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality for ERP.

    The ideal candidate will be experienced in management of SAP technologies including ERP and the integration for related ecosystem such as BI, IBP, Ariba, and MES.,.. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate an understanding of running IT organizations as a business from strategy, technology, security, process, finance, and people management standpoint. The candidate will have experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and bring current knowledge and innovative ideas to develop and mature IT strategy, service offerings, and workforce planning.

    Essential Functions of the job:

    • Partner with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and technical needs to build strategic roadmaps in partnership with Enterprise Architecture

    • Manage and execute SAP roadmaps in alignment with company priorities in a manner that ensures transparency and collaboration.

    • Increase customer satisfaction scopes through regular engagement with IT business partner and business key stakeholders in regional supply chain, manufacturing, quality for checking in and keep satisfaction.

    • Develop ERP architecture strategy and designs in partnership with other IT ERP CoE team members, and project consultants, e.g., single or multiple instances, with a focus on regional regulation and business requirements.

    • Advise business teams on best practices for the deployment of SAP across multiple entities and geographies.

    • Effectively communicate and collaborate with the user community to address the need for ERP and other integrated applications

    • Enhance business processes through the development of regionally relevant solutions and coordinate with APAC ERP Lead to meet global business needs.

    • Lead Team for the successful configuration, unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing of the SAP implementation.

    • Support the build and management of Integration Points between SAP and other systems.

    • Oversee SAP solution and work closely with IT Security team teams on building/configuring applications security.

    • Actively participate in Project Reviews with the Project Management Office and the Steering Committee to ensure adequacy of project resources, adherence to timelines and budgetary control.

    • Work closely with IT PMO to execute projects in the SAP Space using predefined processes and tools to control scope, cost and quality.

    • Develop User Documentation to support usage of the system in cooperation with Consultants and Core Business Team.

    Ongoing Support & Maintenance:

    • Take ownership for the deployment of the SAP Global Template in the US region to ensure effective control over changes required for localization or legal requirements.

    • Lead development of policies, standards & baselines to ensure a consistent and secure framework for governance.

    • Support Maintenance Patches, Version Upgrades and integration on New Bolt-on Applications.

    • Overseeing User Help Desk tickets for disposal of service requests from business users.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Strong logistics application experience in SAP in MM, PP, QM, SD, integration areas for FICO and other SAP key systems including BPC, IBP, PO and the interfaces.

    • Must be an effective leader and communicator and considered to be a developer of people who is comfortable working with a broad cross section of people in direct and matrixed relationships

    • Proven leadership at a senior level directing a team of manager direct reports and associate staff

    • Leadership experience in managing 5 or more SAP functional leaders and numerous consultants

    • 10+ years of professional experience with ERP modules above and at least 5 large scale ERP transformations

    • SAP Certifications s and PMP are highly preferred

    • Rich experience in the pharmaceutical industry for commercial and clinical supply, manufacturing is a must

    • Strong knowledge of GxP and SOX and compliance practices.

    • Strong knowledge of FDA CFR Part 11 Software Validation processes and inspection support experience

    • Strong business analysis & process improvement skills and orientation

    • Must have proven Logistics business and technology skills, with success providing customer-oriented technology solutions environment

    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    Education Required:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business and/or an advanced degree

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Manage technical SAP resources and partner services in US

    • Experience leading infrastructure, application and support functions in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Life Science companies
