  • Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Trade, Supply and Inventory Planning, Business Administration, or Merchandising and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must include:

    • Portfolio Risk Management;

    • Consumer Insights and Trend Analysis;

    • Market Data and Analytics;

    • Retail Metrics/KPI's including revenue growth and productivity;

    • Merchandise Planning;

    • Assortment Line Planning;

    • Supply Chain Management;

    • Translation of Consumer, Sales, and Marketplace Insights into Strategy;

    • Product Strategy and Management;

    • Presentation of Financial data to relevant shareholders, such as senior management;

    • Cross Functional collaboration and partnership; and

    • Global and Territory alignment and engagement on area of responsibility.

    Nike, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Develop, integrate and provide forecasts for internal operations. Address forecast variances and improving forecasting accuracy. Analyze internal demand information and demand & delivery performance through statistical analysis and data-driven decision making tools. Compile data and reports and consumer of such data in order to support decision making. Use consumer demand-led forecasts to global and geo demand plan submissions to secure manufacturing capacity. Forecast, analyze, review, reconcile and execute demand, source and supply plans. Create visibility of change requests and provide recommendations for process improvements. Responsible for maximization of product availability while supporting inventory management strategies and replenishment goals to minimize costs. Develop or support process management excellence to ensure timeliness and accuracy of critical information, events and procedures. Recognize financial input differences between owned and unowned business models to inform financial forecasts. Participate in activities such as work planning, process development, resource optimization, employee goal setting, coaching, and performance monitoring.
