The Facilities Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, and mechanical systems, with a special focus on Boiler Systems and Kitchen equipment. Individuals must possess a strong background and knowledge of such systems. Previous engineering experience is required, preferably in a hotel environment. Our Facilities Mechanic should work well on a team and independently, and be able to multitask and prioritize assignments.
The Facilities Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance on the major equipment and systems using a windows-based computer system. Ability to read blue prints and schematics is preferred, and this position requires strong troubleshooting skills.

Boiler Operator License preferred
HVAC/R Certification preferred
Minimum of (5) years building maintenance experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of all major building systems including life-safety systems
Good communication skills
Attention to Detail
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
