Chef de Cuisine

We are an authentic French bistro called La Brasserie Bistro & Bar in the heart of the gorgeous resort town of La Quinta, CA (Palm Springs area).  Apply for the Chef de Cuisine position if you want to work in a restaurant that only uses fresh and seasonal ingredients and classic French cooking techniques to prepare every dish.  If you are a chef looking for a place where your creativity can shine and your leadership is supported, then this is the place for you.  We are hiring a professional Chef de Cuisine to lead our experienced BOH team.  We are a well-established, family-owned, fine-dining restaurant in beautiful La Quinta, CA.  La Brasserie is owned and operated by an award-winning French Chef originally from Alsace France.  The Chef de Cuisine has full support from the owner who understands BOH operations and what makes it successful. 

We serve dinner only and change our menu seasonally.  We support new ideas and creativity for weekly specials and seasonal menus.  This position is available to start in September 2024.

Make the move to a beautiful resort town.  We are looking for a French Chef or a Chef that has experience in French cuisine.

Responsibilities include:

* Assist in developing and implementing new menu ideas including specials

* Hire and train BOH employees

* Expedite service efficiently and effectively, maintaining the proper pace and food quality

* Manage ordering and inventory to maintain a high level of food quality

* As the team leader, fill in where needed to ensure that the guest experience is never compromised

The restaurant is open 5-6 days a week depending on the season.  The restaurant is closed every August for vacation.
