Associate Veterinarian Small Animal Practice

family-oriented? We are seeking a full-time associate veterinarian at Connecticut Veterinary Center
(West Hartford). Connecticut Veterinary Center has three locations and is privately owned. The West
Hartford practice is one of our AAHA certified locations that has been proudly serving veterinary needs
of pet owners since 1958.

Our West Hartford location also provides emergency services but we are seeking a full-time
veterinarian to cover our day shifts. Although this is a 24hr location, having emergency veterinarians to
oversee and operate emergency services allows us to offer our day team the family friendly benefits of
no after-hours emergencies and no on-call scheduling. We are looking for just the right individual to join
our dynamic and compassionate team and will consider recent graduates with exceptional medicine and
communication skills.

West Hartford offers a suburban feel that includes offering top-notch schools and family friendly

As an associate veterinarian with Connecticut Veterinary Center, you will appreciate our in-house
pharmacy, in-house laboratory, digital radiology (including dental), surgical monitoring equipment
including Certified Veterinary Technicians to assist our DVM team. We proudly utilize Idexx Cornerstone
as our practice management software to maintain our electronic medical records. In addition, we have
an awesome management team to oversee our day-to-day operations and healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in medicine and at least one year of urgent care skills, be
client-oriented with strong client education skills, and be a dedicated, enthusiastic team player. We
focus on a very high standard of medicine while working with the client to develop a manageable
patient care plan. Our hospital stresses preventive care, dentistry, exceptional medical workups &
treatments, and surgery.
