Junior Infrastructure Engineer

Nexxt, Inc., a leading technology company in the talent solutions field with over 100 million job seekers across the US, is actively seeking a Junior Infrastructure/CyberSecurity/DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. We are expanding our dynamic team with responsible, motivated people who value excellence in their work. We are based out of Wayne, PA and are considering candidates with the ability to work in the office.  We are currently working in a hybrid model.

As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of technologies, from racking and standing up individual systems or clusters with multiple network configurations, working on the setup and support of development platforms, deploying and maintaining compute infrastructure, testing and securing our platform, and developing the automation and applications that support the operation of these systems.

Responsibilities Include:

• Install and help maintain production systems and clusters
• Troubleshoot and Debug production systems both on prem and cloud
• Support the backup and recovery of critical infrastructure and development systems
• Respond to support requests for system issues and general user questions
• Participate in daily agile standups to promote and support the quickest responses to the Technology team
• Rotational off hour support

Education / Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another directly relevant field
• 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Microsoft Server Platform, Linux server command-line, BASH in particular Hardware, Software, or Server support 
• Preferred Experience in Front End CyberSecurity hardening practices. Servers/Clusters HW Performing firmware/BIOS updates System backup and restore processes. Strong foundation in network design
• Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
