    Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Clinician for the Therapeutic Day School in Rutland, MA. The Day School provides individualized, strength-based clinical treatment and Special Education services within a supportive, multidisciplinary setting. We use Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) blended with trauma-informed care as the primary milieu model. Due to the wide range of diagnoses and presenting concerns, the Day School clinical team utilizes a variety of intervention techniques including CBT, DBT, CBITS, Motivational Interviewing, ABA, and trauma-informed interventions.

    Primary responsibilities include providing individual and group therapy, completing clinical risk assessments, positively interfacing with students' guardians and external agencies involved in their care, collaborating with school-based staff to implement clinical interventions, providing in-vivo coaching of students in the classroom setting, and accurately completing clinical documentation (e.g. progress notes, assessments, Treatment Plans, Discharge Summaries,etc.) within required timeframes.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work, or related field required

    • License preferred, although applicants who are license-eligible and accruing supervision hours are welcome to apply

    • Experience implementing evidence-based treatments such as CBT, DBT, ABA, and Motivational Interviewing

    • At least one year of relevant experience working with children and adolescents in a residential or therapeutic day school setting

    • Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of software programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
