Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

    6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

    Responsibilities

    We are looking for an experienced and dynamic consulting Solution Architect to join the Oracle Retail Consulting group. In this role, you will implement our Retail Order Management and Order Broker solutions.

    Your primary purpose is to direct the functional and technical designs for Order Management implementations. Through relationship building, and demonstrated solution expertise, you will become the customer's trusted business and technical advisor. You typically work as part of a larger consulting team or as an individual technical consultant on product implementation, enhancement, integration, or audit projects.

    You will be a subject matter expert in Order Management, will enjoy developing innovative solutions to complex business and technical issues and will thrive in client facing environments.

    What you'll do

    • Work with clients to define functional and technical requirements within project scope, documenting "as is" and "to be" processes.

    • Implement the OMS solution or assist the client / solution integrator

    • Write and deliver quality technical documentation for internal and external clients

    • Carry out system configuration, data loading, integration set up, support testing phases, and support the roll-out of the solution

    • Ensure the designed solution is aligned­ with performance and non-functional requirements

    • Work with Oracle / client project management to regularly report status and manage issues

    • Be a subject matter expert in Oracle's Retail Order Management Suite

    What you'll bring

    • 8+ years of relevant work experience

    • Experience consulting within the retail vertical, ideally within the Order Management domain

    • Proven experience in a customer facing role

    • Experience of leading technical workshops

    • An understanding of integration touchpoints, formats and protocols, including SOAP, RESTful web services and identity management systems.

    • Experience working with cloud integrations, point-to-point and through middleware layers

    • Solid analytical and design skills

    You will primarily be home-based but should be willing to travel subject to project needs.

    Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

    California Pay Range: from $95,900 to $192,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

    Colorado Pay Range: from $90,600 to $172,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

    New York City Pay Range: from $90,600 to $182,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

    Washington Pay Range: from $101,300 to $182,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

    Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
