Polarion Solution Architect REMOTE

Position Overview:

The Solution Architect is responsible for the successful implementation high quality Polarion ALM implementations. The domain expertise encouraged are Requirements, Quality/Testing, and Application Lifecycle Management in Medical Device Industry. The Solution Architect will be encouraged to provide leadership, overall technical direction to the team, and mentorship to the customer based on Siemens standard methodologies. Our Solution Architects are leaders with vision in the respective verticals and will be encouraged to provide mentorship to the entire vertical on Industry Best Practices. The Solution Architect position will be collaborating with the Electronics, Semiconductor, Medical device and CP&R (Consumer Products and Retail) Technology Director.

Responsibilities:

• Leadershipof the project team and customer to deliver project goals

• Ownershipof the entire solution delivered to the customer including work done byother team members

• Coordinateall aspects of the technical project. Ensure that Siemens standardprocesses are followed and that the functional specification isimplemented accurately

• Advisethe offshore team to successfully execute detailed functionalspecifications

• Assistthe Project Manager with estimates, detailed work breakdown structure, andenforcement of scope for the project

• Becomea trusted advisor to the customer to steer customer towards Siemens BestPractices

• Authoringof functional specs to document all detailed implementation informationfor the project

• Workingwith QA lead to implement our Quality Assurance process

• Runworkshops to implement the Solution Definition portion of Siemens Deliverymethodology

• Optimallycommunicate design direction to team members and customers in a timely andclear fashion

• Supportthe Engagement Manager on preparation of proposals, business plans,proposal work statements and specifications

• Leadcustomer expectations across project cycle.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Bachelor'sDegree from an accredited university or college, preferably with softwareengineering background, Advanced Degree may be substituted for provenexperience

• Multipleyears of designing Polarion solutions is helpful

• MultipleExperience with other similar products, such as Doors, JAMA, CognitionCockpit, PTC Integrity, Code Beamer etc.,

• Experiencein the technical leadership of large software implementation projects

• Shownexperience in leading a prescriptive solution deployment based on standardprocesses and OOTB capabilities as opposed to simply meeting customerrequirements as stated

• Excellentpresentation skills

• Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, to present complex issues tomulti-level audiences and optimally communicate progress, status andissues to internal and external Customers

• Abilityto handle tough and ambiguous situations without conflict

• Experienceleading offshore team on implementation projects

• Acommitment to drive implementation success in a highly competitive market

• Abilityto interpret and report results to senior management as well as customer

• Travel50%+ WorkLocation can be remote or based in any City in US North East, Any City inUS South, Any City in US Mid-West or Cypress, CA; San Francisco, CA; SanJose, CA; or Fremont, CA or Seattle, WA

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• PreferredPharmaceuticals or Food and Beverage industry background and experience

• Preferredexperience with the solution design of ALM solution implementationprojects.

• Preferredknowledge of Iterative Development methodologies"

• Preferredknowledge of Siemens Polarion, Doors, JAMA, JIRA, Cognition Cockpit, PTCIntegrity, Code Beamer etc.,

• PreferredWorking experience in an Agile environment (Scrum, XP, Kanban).

The total compensation salary range for this position (base + variable pay) is $116,100.00 to $232,200.00. with 7.5% of this being compromised of an annual incentive target.
