    As a Data Project Analyst in our Aerospace IT Analytics Team you will work on improving our Analytics framework to deliver meaningful metrics and process automation to help shape critical business decisions. You will help in providing improved data insights that will guide our strategies and achieve our business goals. Become a go to person for helping drive business change through data insights.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive the interaction with Honeywell internal business partners to define, design, and develop solutions to customer problems using data insights derived from quick prototyping of multiple ideas

    • Meet with Business teams to discover business issues and discuss potential solutions to meet needs - develop prototypes when appropriate

    • Define requirements to effectively work with development teams to create new reporting structures, reports, business hierarchies

    • Test and Deploy new reporting capabilities to our environment

    • Train team to use newly developed reports / data structures to effectively drive business understanding to make informed decisions

    • Collaborate with other analytics teams to leverage their business understanding and analytics environments to improve our divisions reporting capabilities.

    • Assist in evaluation and gap analysis of our reporting environments - Focusing on Supportability, Compliance and best usage of data

    • Identification of Key Master in data different environments to help business use data properly - leverage best uses across our reporting environment

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • Bachelor's degree

    • 10+ years of functional or technical experience working with data analytics / large data sets

    • 3+ years of experience with SAP/ERP data sets

    WE VALUE

    • Master's degree in computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, software engineering, physics, or related discipline in marketing and analytics

    • Sufficient experience working with building data extracts and working with large data sets

    • Fluent in building extract tables and data views

    • Strong understanding of Aero data, ability to merge data together to develop insights

    • Ability to work with internal customers and seek out business problems that can be solved with Data

    • Work across the network to ensure data is complimentary and not conflicting with other extractions / reports

    • Functional / Business Systems experience

    • Experience working with large datasets in tools like: SAP HANA, Alteryx, Informatica

    • Ability to communicate and present complex quantitative analyses in clear and precise manner to leadership team

    • Experience with moving prototypes to production environment and optimizing models in production environment

    • Aerospace knowledge or experience, SAP Data, Rapid Response, MySQL, R/Python

    • Significant experience with modeling and development

    • Some experience with modeling software (R, Python, SPSS, SAS)

    • Experience bringing prototypes to production on Hadoop or NoSQL platforms

    • Experience with visualization software (Tableau, Spot fire, Qlikview, ~~~)

    • Understanding of best-in-class model and data configuration and development processes

    • Strong team leadership, influencing, and decision making skills

    • Experience working with remote and global teams

    • Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
