    Description PROJECT MANAGER (DTRA-20-1406-W):

    Bowhead is seeking a Project Manager to support the DTRA contract in Fort Belvoir, VA

    As a Project Manager, responsibilities will Conduct duties relevant to all security disciplines and counterintelligence functions. As well as write staff actions/reports and coordinate within organizational and with external entities. And ensure that office staff actions are coordinated and on time. The Project Manager will keep current on agency mission, new security requirements and how those requirements impact mission. Recommend cost effective means to implement guidance and reduce security risks.

    Other duties will include:

    • Subject Matter Expert of the Enterprise Information System (EIS)

    • Writes, speaks and briefs senior military and civilian staff, contractor staff, and wider audience

    • Works well under pressure and on the Government site

    • Counsels, coaches and disciplines contractor employees when needed

    • Works well in teams; manages multiple competing priorities

    • Program manager services, such as recruiting, retention, hiring replacements and compliance with contractual agreements

    Requirements • • Bachelor degree

    • Five (5) years of experience with EIS

    • Fifteen (15) years of experience

    SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level, may be required to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.

If the position requires, an applicant must pass a pre-employment criminal background history check.     Where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes, applicants must have a valid driver license for this position and will be subject to verification. In addition, the applicant must pass an in-house, online, driving course to be authorized to drive for company purposes.
