Collins Aerospace is looking for a qualified intern to join our Quality Engineering team. In this assignment, the intern will implement and assist with the key initiatives of Quality organization. Participants will be a member of the elite "Q-Apprentice Program", our Quality Summer internship program that pairs students with mentors and special Quality project leads to support local site initiatives, as well as gain a greater depth of Quality experience in focused Roles. Programs participants will have the opportunity to present their projects to members of the Executive Quality Leadership Team at the conclusion of the summer.
This internship program has positions identified throughout the domestic US. Previous assignment locations have included:
Preferred candidate will have excellent written, oral, communication skills, and will be self-motivated, able to independently drive cross-functional results, and thrive on working in a fast-paced environment. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail. The ability to be a team player and to communicate with other staff members to build effective working relationships is ~~~ ideal candidate will be able to work full-time during the summer months, as well as potential part time hours, depending on school schedule and/or school-year breaks.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
