Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos highlighted Amazon's relatively small footprint in the company's annual letter to shareholders on Thursday. "Amazon today remains a small player in global retail," Bezos said in the letter. He also pointed to the importance of "multibillion-dollar failures" as necessary to Amazon's growth.
