Weather has complicated early season weed control for a central Iowa farmer. Corey Hillebo of Polk City says windy conditions have been persistent this spring. “That was another challenge in itself. When we were planting beans a couple weeks ago, it was constant 30 (to) 40 mile-per-hour winds it felt like just everyday.
