Yongnuo has patented a modular camera system aiming to best smartphone cameras

Chinese manufacturer Yongnuo appears to be working on a modular mirrorless camera. Per Lighting Rumours, Yongnuo has filed a patent for a device combining a 'mobile terminal' and an external lens assembly. The mobile terminal appears to be similar to a smartphone in its shape and form factor. The device has a large display and a central, exposed image sensor.
