Amino Freedom Set To Challenge Google and Apple

Looks like the next big thing to hit the wild world of retail will be products that bring internet into the mix of your already flashy, extensive home media center.

First we had the announcement of Google TV (which I, for one, will be first in line for) and then last week we heard the announcement for AppleTV. And now? A challenger appears! Amino's Freedom box might just be the perfect challenger, packing an Intel CE4100m Atom Processor, 500 GB of internal storage, SD card support, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11n and 1 GB of RAM... but if you're paying attention, you might say to yourself "well that's nothing to swoon over!" Wait. You haven't heard the best part yet.

The awesome catch? Amino's Freedom box will also run its own branded version of Nokia's MeeGo OS which will add apps and gaming support to its long list of capabilities that was already fairly impressive with 1080p playback, VOD streaming, and DVR recording, to name a few.

Both the GoogleTV and Amino's Freedom box are looking to be out on shelves before the holiday season. Soo many choices!

Looking to become a retail sucess? Might I suggest you jump into this internet television battle royale? It promises to be a fruitful one.
