This conference has been scheduled for 21st September 2006 between 8:30 in the morning and 7:00 in the evening. Big Four firms are glad that Deloitte has made this endeavor and has thereby moved yet another step in confirming its place in the international sphere. The venue for the seminar has been decided as the Premiere Palace Hotel at Kyiv in Ukraine. As may be clear from the title of the seminar, it is designed for stock exchange firms that are contemplating their move in becoming public firms. They may be thinking of materializing their plans very soon in the global scenario. This seminar will be segregated into distinct meetings and sessions. There are various important aspects and concerns that come into existence while the preparation for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) is in progress. The said meetings and sessions will revolve around these aspects and concerns. There have already been some large and mediocre business firms in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) that have gone through with the Initial Public Offering procedures with the help of Deloitte. Among the firms of the CIS, there have been six large flotation developments. Four of these developments have been associated with Deloitte. Representatives from these client firms will be invited for this seminar. These firms have already proclaimed publicly their experience as they went through the process of Initial Public Offering (IPO). The seminar will also be honored by the presence of veterans of Deloitte who have had personal experience in handling the projects and developments related to CIS Initial Public Offering. Such honorable participants will be able to enlighten the others about the various aspects arising from the process of Initial Public Offering. The pros from the Deloitte CIS Center of Excellence will be there to present sessions during the seminar. The Deloitte CIS Center if Excellence has developed concrete association with the LSE or London Stock Exchange and various other organizations. They are also able to utilize the expertise and experience of specialists from the Deloitte office in London. Deloitte will help the participants of this seminar with knowledge derived from its practical experience of IPO. There will be several case studies revolving around these issues. IPO preparation, its evaluation and the various important phases of IPO will be the other topics of discussion. By Big4.com Staff Writers, August 2006
