Tracy Wood became the youngest partner ever in Ernst & Young's history in exactly a year ago in July 2005, at the age of 28 and just four years after she joined the firm's Manchester office. Recently and well-deservedly, she was named as one of UK's top 35 businesswomen under 35 by the magazine Management Today. Congratulations to Tracy for this accomplishment. Apart from the delightful play on words....Ernst's Youngest.....we are interested to know how can someone make partner in just four years after joining, that too at such a young age. Perhaps Tracy can add her ideas here. Making partner at a Big Four firm in the early thirties, after 8-10 years of solid progress, was considered fast track. Have things changed and time compressed on promotions? Who's the youngest partner ever at other Big Four firms? Article provided by www.Big4.com
