Zune HD Taking To The Skies

Oooh. Wires.
As a admittedly huge Zune fangirl, it warms my little heart to see that in June of this year Microsoft and United have put their heads together and made a deal that seems to be working out swimmingly for both parties.

Recently, Zune HD evangelist Dave McLauchlan released the news that soon United flights to Hong Kong and Australia will be featuring the use of 500 Zune HDs for travelers to use. The Zune HDs will be preloaded with exclusive content and movies that haven't yet made it to a DVD release -- all viewable on Zune's awesome OLED screens.

While United prepares the devices with rubber casing, screen protectors and charged batteries, McLauchlan's running around getting movie licenses and closing sweet deals.

This almost makes me want to book a flight! Though I suppose I could just buy a Zune HD (which would make my standard Zune feel old and unwanted). I could never do that to you, HotPinkGeek!

Have you got a Zune or Zune HD? What do you think of it?
