Baidu, China’s largest search engine will use Bing from Microsoft to provide search results that will be available in English. This announcement comes after Google’s decision to remove its search engine from China due to a high-profile case involving censorship issues with search results. Baidu has a majority of the search engine market, around 80 percent and the company expects the rate of users to increase with the search results available in the English-language. This venture is just one of multiple recent additional developments for the expansion of Baidu. It also recently announced a nine figure deal with the Chinese travel search engine, Qunar. Microsoft is also expanding from this endeavor, gaining enhanced access to roughly 480 million Internet users.
