Findlay MS is a great place to work because we provide all new teachers the support they need to be successful. We have our Jumpstart program conducted by our two Learning Strategists to answer questions, provide assistance with technology, including Infinite Campus and Canvas, as well as provide classroom support and strategies. We provide time for department level professional learning communities to meet and collaborate to align lessons and assessments.
To assist our students, we have three Counselors and a Social Worker on campus to provide social and emotional support. Our Student Success Coordinator provides restorative strategies for students to assist them in their behavior and academic goals.

This role specifically is for Star Teacher but we also have teaching options in Pre-K through 12 grade throughout the Clark County School District.
Salary ranges from $50,115 to $101,251. You will be offered a $4,000 relocation reimbursement if you are moving from 100 miles from the Clark County School District. In addition, when joining Findlay MS, you will be offered $1000 bonus in recruitment and retention supplemental pay.

Bachelor's degree.
Before starting, you will need to acquire a teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education. Don't worry, we can assist you in walking through that. It is typically a 1 month process. You will also need to complete separate background checks with both the Clark County School District and the Nevada Department of Education which can take about 1-2 months.
When applying for a certificated licensed position, candidates must meet the minimum qualifications as listed on the appropriate position vacancy announcement.
