Accountant

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an entry level or intermediate accountant for a midstream oil and gas Client located in Downtown Houston. This individual will be joining the Crude Marketing Accounting team. This roll will be supporting the marketers and be responsible for multiple different projects, so this individual should be able to multitask and work well in a faced paced environment. Some responsibilities include general month end closing tasks, volumetric actualization, invoicing, inventory accounting, tasks involved with the acquisition of commodities, and analysis and reporting of incoming purchases, sales, freight, and exchange fees.

Skills and Requirements

1-4 years experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, develop macros, etc.)

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Self-Motivated Accounting experience

Experience with midstream or other energy industries

Experience with crude oil marketing

Experience with Endur null
