Trane Technologies in Tyler, Texas is hiring an Accountant II for its Integrated Supply Chain Finance team. The Accountant II will be a part of the Residential HVAC and Supply organization and report directly to the Tyler Plant Controller. This position will provide financial information by researching and analyzing accounts. This position will assist in month end close duties such as preparing journal entries, providing data for business units, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

100% on-site plant based role

Job Summary:

• Provides timely and accurate assistance with monthly closing and supporting analysis

• Reviews and processes information to create journal entries in the general ledger

• Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and reviews for completeness, accuracy and compliance with GAAP

• Supports the annual budget and standard cost process, strategic review process, and monthly/quarterly forecasting process

• Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations

• Works with operations and finance partners to develop and load financial forecasts and budgets

• Delivers timely, accurate and relevant financial reports to management in order to facilitate management level understanding of financial impacts

• Completes special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 2 - 4 years' experience in general accounting or cost accounting in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally accepted accounting principles)

• High level of proficiency in MS Office products, Oracle or equivalent ERP/manufacturing application, OneStream, Tableau and Alteryx experience a plus

Base Pay Range: $65,000-82,000
