Accounting Assistant

Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client as an Accounting Assistant! As an integral part of the finance department, you'll have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills while contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Matching invoices to purchase orders or vouchers

Performing data entry

Assisting with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable

Support the accounting department with a variety of different tasks

Bookkeeping and general accounting

Creating and maintaining spreadsheets

Operating data terminals calculators and other standard office equipment

Performing clerical work and interoffice support including receiving and processing mail

Maintaining and promoting excellent vendor relations

Assembling, sorting and tabulating codes and filing data

Verifying claims and processing orders and deposit slips

Requirements

Education: A degree in accounting or related field is preferred.

Knowledge of accounting principles and software like QuickBooks.

Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication and analytical skills.

Ethical behavior and integrity.

Time management and adaptability.

Basic math skills.

Ability to work well in a team.
