We are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years of accounting experince to join small a medium sized company in Chesterfield, MO. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting team. You will be responsible for processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the field of accounting.

salary: $19 - $23 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions accurately and promptly into accounting software.

• rocess accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoices, payments, and collections.

• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.

• Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Support senior accountants in day-to-day accounting tasks.

• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records.

• Respond to inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal departments regarding financial transactions.

• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Follow internal accounting procedures and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
