Accounting Manager

A dynamic software company based in Philadelphia; Pennsylvania area is searching for an efficient results-driven Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for managing the accounting team, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and implementing strategies to optimize financial processes. The Accounting Manager plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, providing valuable insights to support decision-making at both operational and strategic levels. As an Accounting Manager your key responsibilities will be but are not limited to

• Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics.

• Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, validation and reconciliation processes.

• Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts

• Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures.

• Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

The Ideal Accounting Manager will have

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent degree and/or experience

• Certified Public Accountant or Master's in Business Administration preferred.

  • Recent relevant financial experience

• Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity.

• Strong familiarity with Oracle

• Knowledge of general ledger

• Month end closings experience desired.

• Customer service-oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers.
