Accounting Policy Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an accounting professional to join a growth focused and digitally enabled financial services company with three distinct and closely connected businesses: insurance, reinsurance, and asset management. This candidate would be tracking the process for accounting pronouncements (FASDI or NAIC) to follow those early on and get a jump on new polices. Once the candidate has found new polices it is their job to communicate with the rest of the finance group through PowerPoints. If needed, the candidate would also be responsible for adjusting products and standards. They would also be tasked with working cross functionally with the actuarial and the investment departments. 30% of this role would involve researching depending on the project and prior knowledge.

Skills and Requirements

-5+ years of experience with accounting policy,

-Bachelors in Accounting

-Active CPA

-Insurance background -Big 4 accounting firm exp, just public accounting firm,

-Public SCC company, growing and trying to get ready for public accounting, null
