    The Accounting Program Manager is a key member of our QTS business operations team with a focus on Accounting and Financial related activities. As the Accounting Program Manager, you'll work closely with the Accounting and Finance teams, leadership, and the technology teams to understand day to day operations as well as the direction in which the company and business functions are moving in order to identify and lead transformative projects and initiatives. You can clearly articulate, communicate and outline best practice, identify gaps and areas of improvement through use of roadmaps, timelines, and analytics. You can quickly and efficiently pivot from project to project, communicate effectively and transparently with leadership, make educated decisions quickly and be able to outline the 'why' behind those decisions. You understand industry best practices and can understand the business's needs from a holistic view and create projects that can be executed and implemented in accordance with the vision and strategy of QTS.

    Responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

    • Lead, identify, implement and drive digitization initiatives from a holistic view in conjunction with leadership and cross functional areas

    • Identify gaps in current business processes, team structure and technology stacks in accordance with industry best practice

    • Create roadmaps of process improvement, digitization initiatives and projects

    • Responsible for the functional areas backlog and management of prioritization; communicate with leadership regularly on prioritization and status

    • Lead change management for projects, business process updates and initiatives

    • Management of data and data integrity

    • Management and creation of documentation, business process flows, definitions and associated trainings; partner with training department to publish

    • Identify gaps in reporting and data analytics for KPIs, SLAs, team and executive reporting

    • Understand and execute changes in accordance with Audit controls and processes

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Client Focused- Passionate about business process improvement and project execution who is a trusted resource within the business and a go-to resources when problems arise

    • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

    • Change Management Agent - able to inspire and articulate changes and the 'why' behind them

    • Problem Solving - Identifies and tackles problems proactively, researches and presents multiple solutions to problems

    • High attention to detail

    • Priority Setting - Able to prioritize projects, phases, tasks and milestones appropriately to balance service level needs, established goals and company wide initiatives. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; able to adapt quickly

    • Results Oriented - Personal and team goal focused individual, can be counted on during busy or tough stretches. Self-starter who monitors and communicates performance against goals, project timelines and initiative

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 10+ years of experience in accounting with focus on Accounting

    • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, technology related field or equivalent professional experience

    • Strong technical knowledge of ERP systems, tool stacks and associated systems

    • Experience managing cross functional projects and initiatives from start to finish

    • US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization especially executive leadership

    • Excellent writing skills for generating clear, concise release notes, project updates, backlog status reports, change management documentation, standard operating procedures and meeting notes

    • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 15+ years' experience in Accounting with experience specific to the Data Center industry and/or real estate space

    • e-Builder or Procore Experience

    • Workday, Oracle or SAP experience

    • Consulting Firm experience

    • Experience working in real estate, construction or development industries

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.

    The estimated pay range for this role is

    $123,723.75 - $291,394.18
