Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to work with our team in Johnston, Rhode Island. The role involves managing accounts payable, reconciling accounts, and ensuring efficient data entry. This role is particularly suited for candidates adept at using Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and ensure prompt payment of invoices

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records

• Conduct regular check runs to maintain financial liquidity

• Code invoices correctly to ensure accurate financial records

• Enter data efficiently and accurately into the system

• Process invoices in a timely manner

• Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and other relevant software to perform tasks

• Resolve any discrepancies or errors identified in the accounts payable process

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records

• Communicate effectively with other team members and departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Requirements - Demonstrable experience in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP).

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar.

• Proven ability to perform Check Runs and Coding Invoices.

• Proficiency in Data Entry and Invoice Processing.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary.

• Experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP software is essential.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
