Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are seeking a motivated individual for the role of Accounts Payable Clerk, based in Jupiter, Florida. This role is essential in our team, focusing on full cycle accounts payable processing and will involve the use of Oracle software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle full cycle Accounts Payable processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Operate Oracle software for various accounting tasks - prior experience is not required but is a considerable advantage.

• Utilize Excel for managing and manipulating spreadsheets, including the use of formulas.

• Assist in maintaining an electronic, paperless system, contributing to efficiency and organization.

• Act promptly to fill the role and undergo training due to previous employees' resignation.

• Potentially adapt to a flexible schedule, with the possibility of remote work following the training period.

• Use Accounts Payable (AP) skills to manage and track payments and expenditures.

Requirements - Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar financial position.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.

• Strong understanding and application of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and systems.

• Excellent numerical skills with an attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.

• Proficiency in using accounting software.
