Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Mountain View, California. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for processing accounts payable, account reconciliation, and invoice coding. This role will be remote, following a 9/80 schedule, and will report to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling monthly credit card statements and coding expenses to employee files.

• Processing accounts payable efficiently and accurately.

• Reconciling monthly expense reports and coding expenses.

• Maintaining accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.

• Using Microsoft Excel for data entry and other related tasks.

• Communicating effectively via phone, email, and chat to resolve customer inquiries.

• Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and complete tasks.

• Adhering to all company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.

Requirements

• Must have at least one year of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary

• Must possess strong data entry skills

• Experience with invoice processing is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must

• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
