    Position Profile

    Registered Nurse is responsible for process of admissions, assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

    Compensation: $36 - $40 per hour

    Differentials: $2.50/hour weekends

    Schedule: Full time, three 12 hour shifts per week.

    Qualifications Required

    Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. One (1) to two (2) year(s) clinical experience is a plus. Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of Maine. Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification. Experience with chronic substance use disorder and/or mental illness is a plus.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the process of admissions, gathering consent to treat, and completing assessments
    • Implement an appropriate individualized health treatment plan with the patient
    • Be responsible for all aspects of the health care for the patient caseload during each shift
    • Complete and maintain necessary records and reports in an accurate and confidential manner
    • Will hold a proficiency in KIPU and will attend trainings as necessary.
    • Make the appropriate referrals to other agencies and resources for the health care of the patients
    • Attend essential training programs and weekly staff meetings
    • Be willing and able to work as a team member, including leadership nursing roles
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
