    KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Intern for our Finance Transformation team in Consulting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist clients with various aspects of finance strategy, operational performance and process improvement initiatives

    • Assist engagement team in conducting analysis of finance process areas (financial planning & analysis, financial close and consolidation, management reporting and operational finance) with an emphasis on developing and solutioning process, technology, data and organizational designs

    • Support effective and thorough research, data gathering and analysis across finance and accounting functional areas

    • Compose logical, appropriately structured input to written deliverables and presentation materials

    • Understand and incorporate both client and engagement team perspectives

    Qualifications:

    • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors: Bachelors or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics

    • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above

    • Strong technical aptitude, demonstrated quality service mindset, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications (including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Outlook) with a general understanding of data analysis techniques

    • Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work

    • Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
