Job Description

Our client is looking for an AI Engineer to join their team in Denver, CO. This role requires someone to be onsite in their office 5 days a week, and is looking for someone who is excited about that opportunity! This company is building software products to enable businesses to be more economically and environmentally sustainable by digitally transforming the supply chain. This person will help to define the frontier of logistics optimization, supply prediction, and demand prediction. This role will require a significant time commitment (60+ hours/week) and is looking for someone that is interested in working long hours to complete projects, hit goals and disrupt the status quo! This particular role is entrepreneurial in nature, hence it requires candidates who can develop a full picture of the business problem to ship end-to-end solutions.

This team is using modern technologies like Go, TensorFlow, PostgreSQL and various Google Cloud Platform tools to develop "the brain" of the platform. This role is roughly 80% software engineering and 20% data science. We are looking for someone that has the ability to design and implement AI tools in Go and has experience building solutions involving algorithms, optimization, reinforcement learning, artificial neural networks, discrete event simulation and case based reasoning. We are expecting this person has experience with, at least, one ML framework, such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, etc. This person will develop novel mechanisms by which to optimize supply chain and will build the intelligence behind their logistics simulations. On top of that, this person will implement and ship models to predict the demand for commodities at nodes in a logistics network, the availability of supply, estimated arrival times and delays. This person needs to be a passionate about their career and willing to give their all and to be able to quickly adapt to changes. Skills and Requirements

Ability to design and implement AI tools in Go

Experience working with AI Ops (AI for IT operations)

Experience in at least one ML framework, such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch

Experience building solutions involving algorithms, optimization, reinforcement learning, artificial neural networks, discrete event simulation and case based reasoning

Experience with function/path optimization and some of the more common algorithms Bachelors degree in CS or mathematics

Can provide examples of models they have maintained

Can provide examples of Business outcomes they have achieved/ impacted with that outcome null
