Aircraft Mechanic

Overview : Aerotek Aviation is currently hiring Aircraft Mechanics for a contract to hire positions for an MRO facility located in Kinston, NC.

Job Description:

Aircraft Mechanics will be performing heavy maintenance (C & D checks, calendar checks) for ATR-72, ATR-42 and Cessna Caravan aircraft owned by FedEx. They will also be performing heavy maintenance for ERJ 145 aircraft owned by other customers. Typical duties are going to include working on flight controls, tearing out and reinstalling interior components, performing corrosion control, removing and replacing landing gear, performing minor electrical work, removing and replacing engines, performing minor structural repairs, etc.

Pay Rate : $25.00 - $30.00 an hour based on experience

Shifts : 1st Shift Sunday - Wednesday or

1st Shift Wednesday - Saturday

2nd shift may be available for select candidates

Job Requirements :

• Must have - Aviation Tools and Tool Box

• Must have - Prior Aviation Maintenance Experience (Military experience is acceptable) OR Aviation Maintenance Schooling OR valid FAA Airframe / A&P License

• A&P License highly preferred (recent graduates or upcoming graduates encouraged to apply)
