    Job Description

    Join our manufacturing team where we create Hydraulic Fuel Filters, which are primarily used in heavy machinery and mining fields. As a general assembler in our Element department, your role will be to assemble pleat packs for manufacturing filter elements according to specific work instructions or blueprint specifications. There are 6 different steps in the process for each of our 4 active element lines, which include cutting, seaming, assembly, final assembly, and packaging. Each step involves using hand tools, operating machinery, performing minor assemblies, and ensuring final quality checks.

    This is a contract position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in ANDERSON, Indiana.

    Work Environment

    Our work shifts are divided into two: the 1st shift which runs from Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm with occasional Saturday overtime; and the 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:15pm - 1:45am. Each shift includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and 2 or 3 paid 15-minute breaks depending on the shift length. Our facility is clean, air-conditioned and quiet. Teamwork is a crucial part of our operations as candidates will work in teams of 4 or 5. The dress code is casual with jeans, t-shirt, and closed-toed shoes. Personal protective equipment, such as glasses and hearing protection as well as a high visibility vest, is required.
