Assistant Production Manager Essential Functions:

Supervise production personnel, including delegation of work, evaluating, etc.

Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.

Verifies production counts from previous day.

Verifies first part production is ready.

Verifies all production paperwork and boards are properly filled out.

Acquire production packets as needed.

Prepare production staffing schedule in absence of production manager.

Fill in as needed when production supervisors are absent.

Run production and operate machinery as needed.

Monitor/document productivity of cell to meet/exceed standards, including controlling downtime and effectively utilizing employee time.

Exceed average standards of attendance.

Ensure safety guards and personal protective equipment are always used throughout the department.

Follow Work Instructions, procedures, and company policies, including safety procedures.

Maintain good housekeeping throughout the department.

Assistant Production Manager Requirements: 

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Ability to maneuver the facility

Ability to operate various office equipment, including a computer, phone, copier, & fax machine

Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience

Basic knowledge of computer skills, including Excel & Word

Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external personnel

Ability to read, write, and comprehend written and oral instructions

Pay: $60,000-$80,000 yearly Based on Experience
