Associate Attorney

Description

Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney for their Boston client.

Responsibilities include

• Executing discovery, depositions, and motion writing tasks.

• Handling small and large cases independently.

• Participating actively in all aspects of litigation and trial processes.

• Demonstrating the capacity to adapt to new tasks and special assignments as needed.

Job Skills and Abilities

• Prior law firm civil litigation experience required.

• Proven track record of exceptional research, writing, and advocacy skills.

• Preferred past experience in depositions, mediations, and trials.

• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Comfortable working in high-demand, fast-paced environments.

• Ability to take ownership and work independently to resolve issues.

• Flexibility to manage additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of civil litigation defense experience is required: are open to candidates with up to 20 years of experience as well.

• Active license in Massachusetts is required. Additional licenses in NY, RI, NH, ME, CT would be a plus.

• Excellent people skills, with an ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
