  • This position is a hybrid role on-site 3 days per week in Sleepy Hollow, NY and two days from home. Travel to our Tarrytown site is needed. Remote work is not possible for this position. Additionally this job cannot be based in Basking Ridge, NJ.

    The Associate Director will be a member of Regeneron's New Products Commercial Team who will provide input to the development team for assigned assets in Regeneron's expansive pipeline portfolio and play a key role in driving the global commercial strategy across all stages of development.

    This will be an exciting opportunity for the candidate to assist with the development and implementation of the strategic and tactical plans as it relates to our new products portfolio and to support launch planning for assets nearing transition from development stages to post-approval.

    A typical day may include the following:

    • Provides commercial assessments of early and late-stage molecules across the Regeneron portfolio-helping to inform and shape the longer-term development strategy for each program.

    • Conducts comprehensive market analysis to identify opportunities, competitive landscape, and market trends leveraging both primary and secondary resources

    • Leads a high-performing cross-functional commercial sub-team to collaborate on creating commercial perspectives, developing market assessments, long-term strategies, and building yearly strategic plans

    • Serves as the commercial lead on the Strategic Program Development Teams

    • Supports commercial direction and decision-making to optimize success at launch across all stages of development, including early positioning, robust and relevant target product profiles, early HEOR and Market Access (strategy including pricing), forecasting

    • Provides input into optimal Phase II/III/IV design, life-cycle management, pediatric development, scientific /promotional communications, INN/USAN naming protocols, and optimizing dosing and delivery strategy

    • Facilitates and collaborates with Market Access and HEOR to develop differentiated strategies and compelling value propositions to secure market access. Participate in the development of early market access strategy that spans all product indications, markets, and audiences.

    • Participates in the annual budget planning process, delivery of long-range forecasts, and resolving the best allocation of resources for the brand/indication

    • Collaborates with marketing, legal, regulatory, medical, and market research teams to ensure understanding, alignment, and implementation of strategy

    To be considered for this opportunity you will possess the following requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree required, Graduate degree is preferred (MBA, Pharm.D., PhD, MD, JD)

    • Educational background in science or medicine or marketing is preferred

    • Candidate must have 10+ years of Pharmaceutical Marketing or Life Sciences

    • Consultancy/Health equities research experience preferred

    • Experience working on a brand team and/or home office experience is a plus

    • Able to thrive in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, continuously changing environment with minimal oversight/direction

    • Extensive experience with managing numerous projects concurrently against stringent deadlines

    • Combines strategic thinking with strong implementation skills

    • Ability to independently prioritize requests and demonstrate long-term thinking

    • Possesses the business acumen necessary to interpret and draw business insights from data analysis to formulate recommendations and execute action plans

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement

    • Demonstrate innovative thinking and the ability to leverage experience to be successful in an entrepreneurial environment

    • Demonstrated knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment, as it relates to commercialization in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry

    • Ability to grasp complex scientific concepts, clinical data and simplify it

    • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating emotional intelligence, both internally & externally

    • Able to both influence key stakeholders as well as drive for decisions and outcomes when necessary

    • Self-starter and ability to work independently

    Salary Range (annually)

    $151,800.00 - $247,800.00
