  • Associate Engineer

    An Associate Engineer with Ironhouse will work on a team to complete engineering tasks and create custom engineering solutions to meet customer needs. The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry.

    An ideal candidate would possess strong organizational and planning skills and would excel in a team-based environment. The candidate should approach all tasks in a detail-oriented manner, with a strong sense of ownership over all deliverables.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Creating Protection & Control settings designs as part of a larger engineering team.

    • Performing protection studies and analyses to develop basis documents and relay setting files.

    • Creating HMI (Human-Machine Interface) settings.

    • Creating and Automation & Integration settings designs.

    • Designing and configuring operating characteristics of managed switches and LANs.

    • Review current industry best practices to ensure compliance with cyber security requirements.

    • Performing any entry-level engineering role in the design aspects of engineering projects and assisting other departmental engineers.

    • Performing on-site engineering support when needed.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Must be 18 years of age or older.

    • Knowledge of basic engineering theory, practices, and procedures.

    Education & Experience:

    • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.

    Pre-Screen:
