VCA Animal Care Associates is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Colonial Heights, Virginia.

VCA Animal Care Associates has been serving the Colonial Heights area for decades. We are an AAHA accredited facility, adhering to the highest standards in veterinary medicine.

Our hospital features updated equipment such as Dental X-Ray, Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, and in-house lab equipment. Our hospital also houses a boarding and grooming facility to serve our community and their needs best! The team at ACA is made up of highly trained, long-term staff, and we serve a very loyal community of clients and their pets!

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians. We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.

This position is a full-time position with no on-call hours required. Our hospital hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The local community of Colonial Heights is an exciting place to work! We are located near Fort Lee, which allows us the opportunity to serve our military community. Colonial Heights is rich in history as well as new and fun adventures to be had. The local restaurants and specialty shops are featured as some of the State's best! We are located only 20 minutes south of Richmond, and it's only a few hour's drive for a beach or Mountain View.
