At Rancho Santa Margarita Honda, we are growing and seeking an experienced automotive detailer to ensure our clients receive best-in-class customer experience while taking delivery of their new and pre-owned vehicles. Working alongside a team of experienced technicians, you will ensure the paintwork and interiors are finished to our Dealership's high standards. From cleaning and waxing to color-sanding, it is our mission to bring out the best in every vehicle.

Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspecting vehicle for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery
• Restoring using appropriate materials
• Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle, clean interior and exterior windows
• Applying special-purpose cleaner to remove foreign materials
• Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices
• Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
• Utilize and apply Paint protection sealant to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
• Operate all tools in a safe manner by using proper eye, hand & body protection
• Report any safety issues immediately to management
• Maintaining showroom and stock vehicles in clean & presentable conditions at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years detailing experience required in one or more of the following is preferred: washing, waxing, cleaning and buffing, masking, sanding, grinding and applying paint on vehicles
• Removing and replacing small parts -- carrying out minor repairs
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina, lift heavy objects, and walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Customer focus and attention to detail
• Positive attitude & self motivator
• Clean driving record is a must
• Possession of valid driver's license
• Ability to follow instructions and accepts constructive criticism with motivation towards improvement on job performance
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

PAY SCALE INFORMATION:

• $20.00 - $25.00/hour (BOE)
• Eligible for incentives and bonuses
