    About the Role

    Cirium Ascend Consultancy is seeking an enthusiastic Valuations Analyst/Consultant to join our New York City OR European team. This is an exciting opportunity within our Consultancy department, which is based across our London, Dublin, New York, Hong Kong, and Tokyo offices. You will primarily be based in our New York City OR London Heathrow / Dublin Office, as part of our diverse, global team of 30 analysts and consultants whose work is recognized as market-leading and industry influencing.

    Responsibilities

    As a Valuations Analyst/Consultant, you will help deliver projects as part of a highly professional team by:

    • Working with experienced colleagues to conduct research into values across multiple aircraft types, as well as delivering those values to our clients, liaising with industry leaders in the process.

    • Driving the innovation and evolution of our product offering, including appraisal methodology, within both Ascend and the wider Cirium business.

    • Supporting global advisory projects including collaborations across Cirium's European, US & Asia offices.

    • Working together with other departments in Cirium, you will meet clients, understand their needs and offer tailored expertise and appraisal and advisory solutions to their business.

    • Creating industry-leading content across multiple platforms, including our Thought Cloud Blog, Viewpoint Magazine, YouTube, as well as Cirium Live Events.

    Requirements

    • Have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant and numerate field.

    • Have aircraft appraisal experience (or path to accreditation) or if not, aircraft pricing experience (within leasing/finance) would be highly beneficial.

    • Travel globally to industry events and our office network (role includes 5-15% travel).

    • Have intermediate, or higher skill, with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new systems and software quickly. A willingness to advance in this area through training and experience. Knowledge of SQL and/or Python is desirable.

    • Be experienced in researching and analyzing large datasets, and building models using such datasets.

    • Have experience of presenting to audiences of different sizes in a convincing and articulate manner, or to be able to demonstrate other strong communication skills.

    • Have professional experience in the aircraft finance, leasing, trading or appraisal sectors although experience in other financial services, engineering, or consultancy will be considered.

    • Be able to communicate fluently and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Any other languages are an advantage but not required.

    • Candidate experience will drive suitability for the level of the role.

    The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for NYC.$115,800.00 - $193,000.00
