Avionics Test Engineering is seeking to fill a Software Engineering II position with a talented individual who possesses an Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering Bachelor's degree.
Test Engineering offers an array of innovative test equipment solutions for Collins Aerospace products and programs. We serve internal customers, including our manufacturing and service centers, as well as external customers - domestic and international.
The primary responsibility for this position is to develop and maintain test solutions for products designed and manufactured by Collins Aerospace. The applicant who fills this position must have strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.?This position will heavily utilize software development and debug skills on multi-rack automated test stations.?Typical test stations include components such as switch systems, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMM's, power supplies and other RF or digital related equipment.

Contribute to the success of a cross-functional team
Review product designs and analyze test requirements
Design test fixtures and interconnects
Develop automated test software and user interfaces
Verify test results are accurate, repeatable and reliable
Prepare and present project / technical information to peers, internal management and customers
Plan and manage tasks effectively
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
1+ year experience in Software development
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: ~~~
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering highly preferred
Software skills in C++ and C# are a plus
Experience in the Aerospace industry

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
