    The Enterprise Data Intelligence team lives within technology risk organization in the Business Systems Vertical. The team is responsible for all the data across the Risk organization. It is a fast past team that likes to challenge the status quo and innovate.

    About the job

    This leadership position is responsible for creating, directing and implementing strategic and tactical plans for RSG's Enterprise Data Intelligence team while managing a global organization focused on providing a world-class data intelligence that provides the business with actionable insights through powerful data analytics and advanced visualizations. This leader will consistently maintain an appropriate balance between the business vision for the future and the successful operation of the units within the Risk Solutions business.

    You'll be responsible for:

    • Developing and implementing technology plans for the department to achieve the Company's strategic objectives.

    • Monitoring changes in the Company's strategic/operating plans and modify technology plans as appropriate.

    • Delegating authority to empower employees to perform their respective responsibilities.

    • Developing efficient work processes and procedures. Implement measurement and tracking systems that are aligned with Company objectives.

    • Partnering with business stakeholders to understand how they are using the platform and how it can be enhanced to meet ongoing business needs

    • Understanding and encouraging agile/scrum methodology

    • Monitoring Cloud financials and ensure costs are minimized

    • Establishing operational objectives and assignments for department and drive operational efficiencies

    • Fostering growth of team members through ongoing training and learning opportunities

    • Developing consistent, proactive measures and practices to identify and resolve root cause problems/issues.

    • Developing and establish benchmarks to ensure the level of service our customers receive meets or exceeds their expectations.

    • Identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction through platform enhancements and empowering users to self-serve where possible

    • Proactively monitor and assess industry/technology advancements and alliances, looking for ways in which to leverage existing capabilities and emerging technologies.

    • Hiring training, retaining, and managing team members

    • Effectively delegate responsibilities to direct reports and key team members

    Qualifications

    • Have extensive experience in a variety of engineering roles.

    • Possess a passion for transforming, delivering, and managing value orientated data services

    • Demonstrate a drive to deliver value by solving both business and technical problems.

    • Show excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills with both business and technology stakeholders.

    • Possess a desire to coach, inspire and empower individuals and teams to high levels of autonomy and performance

    • Have a proven track record in data engineering and relevant languages.

    • Demonstrated leadership, planning and innovation

    • Ability to demonstrate project management experience including management of complex transformational initiatives

    • Ability to effectively work with key business stakeholders at the C level and below to prioritize projects across all levels of the company

    • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies that could benefit the platform

    • Experience with data warehouse and reporting implementation strategies

    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; able to effectively present ideas, programs, and technical information at all levels in the organization

    • This position requires proven leadership and people management skills

    • Successful track record in service-oriented position under high degree of change requiring quick response to customer needs
