    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in basic science or equivalent and 2 years of related experience or Masters degree in basic science or related field and no experience required.

    Job Description:

    Conducts variety of routine and non-routine research assignments and experiments in a high containment facility including Biosafety Levels 3 or 4.

    Job Duties:

    • Performs, coordinates, and conducts standard research experiments following general technical instructions.

    • Performs functions of research projects utilizing bio-hazardous substances.

    • Performs technical services such as tissue sampling, blood draws, anesthesia, and injections.

    • Makes modifications to research techniques as required by investigator.

    • Follows specific protocols.

    • Conducts quality control measures for assigned project operations.

    • Contributes to scientific analysis and projects.

    • Orders and maintains lab inventory of supplies, animals, and equipment.

    • Maintains records of all tests performed and data collected, compiles, and tabulates data, provides analysis of results, and engages in.

    • Maintains knowledge of biohazard operations

    Salary Range:

    Commensurate with Experience
