BODY PREP MANAGER

We are looking to hire a Body Prep Manager ( Maintenance Background ).

Responsibilities:

• Plans and oversees work to meet production and quality requirements while making effective use of labor, material, and equipment.

• Coordinates railcar transport of raw materials, orders necessary body material and verifies shipment receipts.

• Coordinates the flow of material through the body prep process.

• Establishes, maintains, and analyzes budgets, records, and other controls to keep costs at a minimum consistent with efficient operations.

• Manages demurrage costs.

• Ensures operations are within specifications.

• Evaluates selection of new associates in hiring process.

• Conducts training on new procedures and oversees new hire training.

• Coaches and reviews performance of direct reports.

• Ensures safe and healthful working conditions and an organized work environment.

• Promotes and adheres to all safety and health policies and procedures within the plant.

• Develops an effective organization capable of meeting objectives.

• Ensures employees complete required training.

• Performs other related duties as required.

Education and Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, and or other manufacturing-related degrees, preferred.

• Knowledge of ceramic manufacturing and quality standards preferred.

• Basic computer skills.

Experience:

• Five (5) or more years of experience, preferred.

• Strong background in Facility Maintenance, a plus.

Competencies:

• Strong communication and listening skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, conflict resolution skills, and ability to analyze, plan and schedule.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
